Creative · Internship

Photography Intern

Tell the story of a world that moves.

Location
Remote, with in-person shoots at colivings
Commitment
Part-time, about 20 hrs/week
Stipend
$400 USD/month

You will document CoDNX colivings and venue events, building a body of editorial work that captures the real texture of the community: potluck dinners, workshop ceilings, the hands that cook, teach and create. This is an editorial photography role, not a social-media content mill.

What you will do

  • Shoot documentary, portrait and event photography at colivings and venue partners
  • Build a consistent visual language aligned with the CoDNX brand and editorial tone
  • Work with the founder to plan shoots for specific campaigns and feature stories
  • Deliver retouched, print- and web-ready assets on agreed turnaround times
  • Join weekly creative reviews, giving and receiving direct critique
  • Contribute to the CoDNX photo archive and community library
  • Capture venue partner profiles: the spaces, the owners and the work inside them

What you bring

  • A portfolio with a clear, distinctive point of view, not just technical competence
  • Comfort shooting in low light and fast-moving, intimate documentary settings
  • Proficiency in Lightroom or Capture One, plus basic Photoshop retouching
  • Real interest in community, cultural exchange and the nomadic life
  • Ability to work independently once a brief is set
  • A camera capable of professional output (full-frame preferred, not required)

Content Creation Intern

Write the world into the network.

CoDNX is building a media presence that reflects the depth of what it does: genuine stories about real people building lives across borders. You will write long-form features, interview community members, help shape our editorial voice, and publish work people read because it says something true.

What you will do

  • Research, pitch and write long-form features about members, venue partners and nomadic life
  • Draft short-form content for Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok in each platform's native voice
  • Interview coliving residents and venue owners and turn conversations into narrative
  • Help write newsletter editions, platform copy and onboarding content
  • Maintain a content calendar with the founder
  • Source and fact-check statistics and citations for everything we publish
  • Help develop the CoDNX editorial style guide

What you bring

  • Strong writing that matches tone to context: a profile reads differently from a caption
  • At least one writing sample that makes us want to keep reading (required)
  • An editorial sensibility: you know the difference between content and writing
  • Comfort with research and fact-checking, because our numbers must be right
  • Basic familiarity with a CMS such as Notion or Webflow
  • Curiosity about the economics of mobility, community design and cultural exchange

    One short form: who you are and a sample of your best work. No cover-letter theatre.

    A person reads every application within 10 business days. No algorithmic scoring.

  3. Conversation

    A 30-minute call so we can learn about each other. Not a test.

  4. Offer

    Clear terms, a fair stipend and an honest outline of what you will build.

We are early-stage, so your work will matter and the structure around you will be incomplete. If you thrive in that, this is worth your time. If you need a fully built system to do your best work, we are not there yet, and we would rather you know now.
