Accessibility support
CoDNX is for anyone who wants to live and work in a new city. That includes people who use assistive technology or need accessible spaces. Here is where we stand, what still needs work, and how to get help.
What we do today
Keyboard access
Newer pages can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
Structure for screen readers
Pages use headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, and errors are announced.
Readable by default
Text scales with your browser settings, and layouts adapt to small screens.
Motion kept minimal
Animation is limited and switches off if your device is set to reduce motion.
What still needs work
We would rather list our gaps than hide them. CoDNX is currently a one-person build, so fixes are prioritised by how much they block people.
- Image carousels and some interactive widgets are not fully keyboard and screen reader friendly yet.
- Embedded video may not have captions on every guide.
- Older pages have not all been tested with assistive technology.
- Listings are written by hosts, so photo descriptions and access details vary.
