SANANA SURFSKATE RETREAT Partner Retreat | Pop-Up | 1 Week | Sines House What It Is A pop-up surfskate retreat run by Svenja Pieritz (certified vegan chef and full-time traveler) and David (founder of Surfskate Las Palmas, former law student turned surf and skate coach), hosted entirely at the Manas Sines House. First run in April 2025 — sold out completely. A second edition is under discussion for late 2026. Who It Is For Beginners and intermediates of any age, any gender. The emphasis is explicitly anti-performance: the goal is to discover whether surfskating might be your new favorite hobby, make real friends, and spend a week doing something outside your normal life. People who work full-time in tech, in offices, anywhere — this was designed for working adults who have forgotten what it feels like to be a beginner at something wonderful. Duration 7 nights / 8 days. Sunday to Sunday. The Full Weekly Program Sunday: Arrival, welcome dinner. Monday: Breakfast, surfskate workshop, optional surf guiding. Tuesday: Breakfast, optional surf guiding, sunset skate. Wednesday: Breakfast, surfskate with filming, optional surf guiding, movie night and video analysis. Thursday: Breakfast, surfskate workshop, optional surf guiding, local Fado concert in town. Friday: Breakfast, day trip to the Lisbon Pumptrack. Saturday: Breakfast, surfskate workshop, family dinner and photo slideshow. Sunday: Breakfast, departure. What Is Included 7 nights in the Sines House; 4 surfskate sessions across different locations; 1 sunset skate; 1 video analysis of your skating; 1 day trip to the Lisbon Pumptrack; 4 sessions of surf guiding with transport; daily homemade breakfast buffet; 2 vegan family dinners; full rental of surfskate equipment for the week; group photographs; surf movie night + picture show; traditional Fado concert in town. What Is Not Included Flights to Lisbon; transport from Lisbon to Sines; optional photo and drone package (additional cost); surf rental and lessons (can be organized); lunch and dinner except the two family dinner nights. The Rooms & Pricing (2025 edition, all booked) Six named rooms, each with its own personality. Seamist — the hero room, private balcony, sea view from the bed: €1,150 solo / €875 per person shared. Coral — largest room, sea view, known as the girls' room: €1,050 / €825pp. Dune — tucked away, windows both sides, privacy and light: €1,000 / €800pp. Twinfin — warm double with ocean views, antique surfboard as decor: €950 / €775pp. Singlefin — soft warm light, corner ocean view, single bed and armchair: €850. Seashell — spacious single bed, beach details: €850. All rooms have shared bathrooms. All double beds can be converted to twin configuration.
