Padel & Yoga Retreat — September at Cape Coliving September is shoulder season in Cape Town — the crowds of summer still weeks away, the city running at a quieter, more local tempo, and the weather crisp and perfect for long afternoon padel sessions. Cape Coliving's Padel & Yoga Retreat is built for remote professionals who want to integrate competitive sport and active recovery into their working life without compromising on productivity. Mornings start with rooftop yoga. Afternoons are padel. In between, fast fibre Wi-Fi and dedicated workstations mean your deadlines stay on track. The Courts Courts are a 5-minute walk or short Uber from the villa. The retreat facilitates access to three top-rated venues: Point Padel Club at Virgin Active Green Point (the closest, open to non-members), Africa Padel V&A Waterfront (a social hub with a café, 5-minute drive), and The Glen Virgin Active (courts set against the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range — the go-to for a spectacular sunset match, 15-minute drive). All skill levels are welcome. The community mixes beginners and veterans across house doubles games, Americano formats, weekly round-robins, skill-swap sessions, and spontaneous morning matches. Court bookings are coordinated via the Playtomic app and the house WhatsApp group. Beyond the Court The full Cape Coliving community experience runs alongside the padel programme — sunset hikes up Lion's Head, rooftop yoga, promenade runs, potluck lunches every Wednesday, monthly community braais, and group dinners. The shoulder-season advantage is real: lower room rates, quieter trails, fewer queues, and activities across the city at reduced prices. The Location The villa is at 13 Torbay Street in Green Point — one of Cape Town's most convenient and safe neighbourhoods, nestled between the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Stadium, Virgin Active, and Signal Hill. Restaurants are a 5-minute walk. The promenade is 10 minutes on foot. The V&A Waterfront is 15 minutes' walk or a 5-minute drive. Pricing & Details When: September only. Minimum 14-night stay. Appropriate court shoes are strongly recommended — flip-flops and running shoes aren't suitable for padel. A surcharge of ~$16/day applies per additional person sharing a suite. What Guests Say "I stayed at Cape Coliving for a month and would come again. A great weekly programme filled with padel, guided hikes, yoga, restaurant visits, and potluck lunches. Autumn and early winter offered sunny weeks, rainy days, and cloudy days — the perfect opportunity to be active while also getting enough time to rest and focus." — Linda G.
