Six Program Areas: Independent Research - Study biodiversity at their Amazonian Research Station in the Aquicuana Reserve; support conservation studies Education and Youth Development - Work with children and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds in orphanages or daycare centers in Riberalta; support environmental education projects with local communities near the Reserve Ecotourism and Conservation - Help develop community based ecotourism projects and assist with conservation work NGO Support - Contribute to communication, marketing, research, or grant writing; gain experience in international cooperation and development Onsite Community Support - Help with gardening, construction, cooking, yoga teaching, or any skills that can benefit the community at the Aquicuana Reserve Art Residency - Create art projects while fostering intercultural exchange between international and local people (all disciplines: visual arts, music, creative writing, video) What They Provide: Accommodation at both the Aquicuana Reserve and Riberalta Food and kitchen access Clean water Access to their ecolodge and onsite activities Social gatherings, outings, and organized trips Opportunity to live in one of the most biodiverse areas in the world Cost Structure: No program fees. Volunteers make a minimal contribution to cover what it costs to host them (accommodation and staff support), based on their individual needs. They don't have funding to cover these costs themselves. Placement: Determined by applicant interest, time commitment, language ability, and previous experience. They work to match individual skills with local needs for the most rewarding experience.
