We asked former volunteers, partners, artists, scholarship recipients, and other members of our extended family to tell us why they love Sustainable Bolivia. In 2016, we helped secure protection for more than 20,000 hectares of rainforest, establishing the Aquicuana Reserve. Inside the Reserve, we partner with local communities and oversee projects focused on community-based ecotourism, conservation and resource management, environmental research, visitng artists, and educational programming with local children. We also provide local scholarships, and microgrants. Our current work focuses mostly on work within Aquicuana Reserve. Get free room and board when volunteering.
