A small private office with ocean views is available for focused calls or deep work, and the cozy living room comes with an open fireplace, a projector for movie nights, and board games for easy evenings in. Groups of up to 10 guests are hosted to preserve the sense of intimacy and shared experience. You can book the whole house for full-group privacy, or rent a single room and meet fellow guests with aligned minds and interests. The Experience The location is perfect along the picturesque Atlantic coast. The rooms and spaces are fantastic, the beds supremely comfortable. The beach, just a short walk away, feels almost private in the early season — April through the end of May especially. This region of Portugal has some of the most uncrowded surf spots in the country. Whether beginner or advanced, there are several breaks within a 30-minute drive, with surf rentals, lessons, and local guides available to show the best the Alentejo coast has to offer. The atmosphere is super laid back. Host Inês welcomes guests like old friends — joining them for dinners, wine bar evenings with her local circle, and surf sessions side by side. At Manas, the belief is that the most important part of a coliving is its community — when people from different cultures and paths of life, but with similar mindframes, live together for an extended period, a special atmosphere is created.
