Mi Casa is a coliving and coworking space in La Punta, Puerto Escondido, created by two Mexican women who wanted to share a more authentic side of Mexico with remote workers and travelers from around the world. After years of traveling, working remotely, and staying in colivings ourselves, we felt something was missing. Many places were beautiful, but few felt truly connected to the local culture and community around them. So we decided to create the kind of place we would want to stay in ourselves. Inspired by the Mexican saying “Mi casa es tu casa,” Mi Casa is a hacienda-style home surrounded by tropical gardens and fruit trees, just a 10-minute walk from the beach. It's a place where you can be productive, meet like-minded people, and experience the slower rhythm of life in Puerto Escondido. With only six rooms, our space is intentionally small and personal. You can work from our rooftop palapa coworking space with ergonomic chairs, relax in our shared outdoor areas, join community activities, and discover Puerto through local recommendations curated by us. What makes Mi Casa special is its connection to Mexico. From the design of the house to the experiences we recommend, we've tried to create a space that reflects the warmth, culture, and hospitality we grew up with. We want our guests to experience Puerto beyond the usual tourist spots, support local businesses, and feel connected to the place they're visiting. Whether you're here for a few weeks or a few months, our hope is simple: that you arrive as a guest and leave feeling a little more at home in Puerto Escondido.
