Casa Alondra is an exclusive villa with a living area of 280 m² set on a plot of 580 m², offering a private and intimate atmosphere — no overlooking balconies from neighboring apartments. The owners personally refurbished their home with the well-being of guests in mind before departing for a second expatriation abroad. The result is a space that feels genuinely lived-in and cared for rather than commercially sterile. The Rooms & Accommodation Options There are four accommodation options, all priced per month (seasonal variation applies), with WiFi, water, and electricity included: Suite #1 — From €850/month. Features a balcony, desk, dressing room, and private en-suite bathroom with a sea view. Suite #2 — From €850/month. Includes a desk, wardrobe, and private en-suite bathroom with a garden view. Suite #3 — From €750/month. Comes with a desk, private bathroom, and direct access to the home cinema. Private Apartment — From €900/month. A self-contained unit with a living room, bedroom, dedicated office space, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom — ideal for those wanting maximum privacy within the coliving setting. All rooms are furnished with the essentials: bed, bedside table, and storage space. Each has its own private bathroom and is equipped with a desk, monitor, and chair. Each room is equipped with a desk, office chair, and a 24" HDMI screen. WiFi 6E Mesh technology covers the entire property, delivering stable, high-speed internet throughout. The Daily Rhythm of Life The site paints a vivid picture of what a typical day looks like: Morning: Guests wake up to either a garden or swimming pool view. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the garden for nature lovers or on the sunny terrace for those who prefer to catch the first rays of sunshine. Two terraces are available depending on mood — one shaded for warmer days, one sun-exposed for those who love the heat. Lunchtime: The concept of eating outside all year round is fully supported. Guests can stock up on regional specialties at the Mercado del Agricultor, just 4 minutes away by car, and fire up the large barbecue by the pool. Afternoon breaks: Options include swimming laps in the 9x4 metre heated pool, relaxing in the jacuzzi/massage jet area, playing ping-pong or badminton, a game of Frisbee, or reading in the dedicated "zen" garden space. Evenings: A large panoramic lounge hosts board games, Home Cinema screenings, debriefings, and the exchange of tips among co-livers. The home cinema features a giant 266 x 149 cm screen with a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound bar. Work & Coworking Setup Guests can choose their working environment — either in their own private office within their room, or in the shared spaces, both of which are designed to encourage reflection, concentration, and creativity. The layout is ideal for Zoom meetings or recording YouTube videos. There are multiple workspace options throughout the property to suit mood and needs throughout the day. Facilities & Amenities The full list of facilities includes: BBQ, washing machine, free street parking, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, weekly cleaning of common areas, home cinema, household linen, table tennis, desks, fast WiFi 6E, Netflix, bath towels, a heated pool, and HDMI monitors in every room. The garden and pool are cleaned twice a week. A washing machine is available free of charge in the laundry room. Meals are not included, but a fully equipped kitchen is available, with grocery stores nearby and supermarkets accessible in town. House Rules & Community Standards The space is dedicated to coliving-coworking, meaning it maintains a studious atmosphere with respect for everyone's tranquility. Quiet hours run from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. Smoking or vaping indoors is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate contract termination. Animals are not permitted. Children are also not considered appropriate for the space, given its coworking focus. The hosts screen each member beforehand, looking for open-minded, considerate people who value sharing. Guests cannot choose their roommates directly, but can suggest contacts. On average, five people are hosted at any one time, with a maximum capacity of nine. Length of Stay & Booking Stays typically run from one to six months, with the average being one to three months. Extensions are possible depending on availability. Stays can be shortened, but monthly rent paid in advance (before the 26th of the prior month) is non-refundable. A security deposit is required, returned within 15 days of departure after the inventory check. Location Casa Alondra is situated in the south of Tenerife — warmer and drier than the north — just 10 minutes from Reina Sofía South Airport. Mini-markets are a 5-minute walk away. The house sits just outside the quiet town of San Isidro (approximately 800 inhabitants), with local shops, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets reachable on foot through the nearby Barranco in about 10 minutes. El Médano beach and its kitesurfing, windsurfing, and wing-foil spots are just 7 minutes away by car. The Spirit of the Place Casa Alondra's philosophy is built on values of sharing and ecological conviction. Sharing a home and its equipment naturally reduces the carbon footprint of each guest. The space is LGBTQ+ friendly, welcomes guests from all over the world, and is designed to encourage networking and the development of complementary skills through co-working — while maintaining each person's sense of privacy.
